How to play

  1. Fill the canvas with rectangles.
  2. Every rectangle must be a different shape. A 2×3 and a 3×2 count as the same.
  3. Keep them close in size. Your score is the gap: the biggest rectangle’s area minus the smallest’s. Lower is better.

The goal is the smallest gap possible. Reach it and the canvas is solved. A new canvas every day.

Some canvases have black squares (leave them empty) or a fixed rectangle, marked with a small square in its corner.

Drag to draw a rectangle. Tap one to remove it.

    Squares

The original problem: cut an n×n square into different rectangles. The goal for each square is the best possible, as proven by mathematicians and checked again here.
